Having trouble making healthy food choices or not sure what to eat or buy at the grocery store? I work with individuals and groups of all ages to help with just that. I will partner with you to develop a personalized nutritional plan that will enable you to achieve a healthy balanced diet, optimize your nutritional status and prevent/delay/manage diseases and conditions. As we all know many diseases and health issues are caused by poor nutrition and an unhealthy diet.
Did you know that an overwhelming amount of evidence shows that movement can play an important role in how your body feels and responds to daily events? Different types of exercise can bring different health benefits. You can strengthen your bones with weights. Increase your flexibility with stretching. Or, improve your heart health with aerobic activity.
But people’s bodies are built differently.
Some people have more of the type of muscle that provides strength. Others have more of the type that provides endurance, which keeps you moving for a long period of time. This is one reason why people need personalized plans.
A health and wellness coach works one-on-one with individuals who want to improve their health and well-being. Using concepts drawn from psychology, behavior change, and life coaching fields, a wellness coach helps their client overcome obstacles to maintain healthy habits for life.
